It is true Carmouche offered some danger to champion as she manage to get Rousey’s back after the champion take her down withing the first minute or the show.
Carmouche then wasn’t unable to finish Rousey from the back. Ronda on her side was very calm and manage to scape with class and technique.
Ronda Worked on the ground and pound, to at the final 10 seconds on the first round reached her favourite attack position and did it very well.

Some important things you should know once you decide to follow the MMA Diet are:
- You will eat moderate proteins (45%)
- You will eat a lot of fats (45%)
- You will eat almost no carbs (10%)
- Your metabolism will change
- Your energy source changes from Carbs to Fats
I am trying here to explain people that this is not a high protein diet, it is a High Fats Diet, Moderate Protein Diet and Very Low Carbs Diet.
In saying that, you will eat a lot more fats (nuts, cheese, butters…) than you normally do when you still eat moderate carbs.
Once you get started with the MMA Diet, your body begins a process to strip off all the stored Glycogen from your muscles (originated by carbohydrates), It then begins the process of burning the stored fat. This metabolism state is called Ketosis. It is exactly same as starvation. The only difference is that you will not be starving. Only your body thinks that. Therefore, you start to use the energy reserves, thats when you Burn The Extra Body Fat.
This process has some side effects on the beginning. You could feel a bit tired, some could experience a few light headaches. Nothing to worry about. This is just your body adjusting to the MMA Diet.
Alright once you are on it, if the diet is too strict to you, no problem, you can have a break on the weekends and get back to that on monday. Your body will now adjust in a blink.
One thing that is very important is that you can eat “greens” at your will!
That is right, I mean lettuce, and leaves, not broccoli and high carbs. Just salads to fill up the space in your stomach and give you some fibre to help on your digestion.
For example if you want to eat today Grilled Salmon with cashew nuts and almonds plus Aspargus, but once you see the quantity, you think it will not be enough to fill up and you know that you will be feeling hungry afterwards.
Here what you can do:
Get some Lettuce, Arugula, Rockets, wash and mix ‘em up, you can add the almonds and cashew nuts here, pour some olive oil and salt. You can have the Grilled Salmon on the salad if you like. Some will find it a very tasty salad, some may dislike it, anyways it is just to exemplify how you can use the “Green leafs” with your MMA Diet.
Note: To keep your metabolism in Ketosis, you cannot have more than 50 grams of carbohydrates per day. It should be around 30 grams to keep in and safe quantity.

One of the nicest things of living in Australia when it comes to food is that you can find a great variety of ingredients from all over the World!
I always liked lamb meat. Even though it is not so common in most states of Brazil (my original country), I had a few chances to enjoy that delicious meat for a number of times.
Let me tell you Folks, lamb in Australia is good, and is available at any supermarket all over the country.
So here I am doing my groceries and couldn’t resist to this beautiful lamb chops. There is a BBQ on the house, the Webber one. Very practical and powerful. It is important to have a good heat when you grill your meats. The fastest it gets grilled the softest it will be.
So I got the Lamb chops and planned to do it like Brazilian BBQ style. For those who are not familiar with the brazilian BBQ Style, it is very simple. I will explain bellow.
So I put the heat on, warming up the webber. Now I go and rinse the lamb chops under tap water to get rid of the blood as you never know how they treat your meat really. So I cleaned it up. Put aside to let the water dry out a bit.
I now open the Marine Rock Salt. Very good quality and clean… the best rock salt ever… I pour the salt on a tray and spread evenly. I get the chops, lay them on the salt on both sides… make sure there is salt enough. Not it is time to Grill it… The webber is Burning Hot, I lay the chops on the grill and let the heat work it’s magic…
Couple minutes one side i flip sides, couple minutes more and Done, the way I like it, medium rare… crispy outside, moisty and softy inside, the fat is crispy too… the salt? you have to clean it out during the process so the meat doesn’t go too salty.
So my protein was sorted, now is time to sort the carbs and fats.
I chose to use Brown Rice with Broccoli and for the fats I used a nuts combination of Cashew Nuts and Almonds, also you have the fat from the lamb chops but you can’t really measure that one.
So I sliced the Cashew Nuts and Almonds into small pieces and mixed it up with the Brown Rice with Broccoli.
But one thing was missing. The vinaigrette. So I chopped in very small pieces : Tomatoes, Capsicum, Onions, pour Olive Oil, Vinegar, Salt, Lime and it’s done.
